Against Otter.ai, which is built for meeting transcription at scale rather than personal task capture, TellDone is solving a different problem entirely. Against Todoist and Notion, both excellent for managing tasks once captured but without TellDone's voice-first capture step, TellDone is best understood as a capture layer that sits on top of whatever system you already use — it integrates with Todoist, Notion and Things 3 rather than replacing them. The $49.99-249.99/year pricing is reasonable for that specific job, assuming you're on iOS 18+ and ideally have an Apple Watch, since Android isn't supported yet.
