Description
PipesHub connects the AI you use at work to everything your company already has scattered across Slack, Google Drive, Microsoft 365, GitHub, Jira and dozens of other apps, so instead of an AI assistant that only knows what you type into it, you get one that can answer questions using your actual company knowledge — with links back to the exact source, and respecting who's allowed to see what.

The short version: PipesHub is the free, self-hosted answer to "we want Glean but can't justify Glean's pricing (or its cloud-only deployment)," and it delivers a genuinely comparable feature set on paper.
Glean is the market leader here with far more integrations, a more mature product, and dedicated enterprise support — but it's priced for large organizations and runs in Glean's cloud. PipesHub's Apache 2.0 license and self-hosting model mean a mid-sized engineering team can stand up permission-aware workplace search without a six-figure contract, at the cost of doing their own deployment, maintenance, and security hardening (SOC 2/ISO 27001 claims exist but should be verified independently for your compliance needs). It's a strong pick for technically capable teams; less so for organizations wanting a fully managed, zero-maintenance product.
