Most note apps ask you to sign up, sync to their servers, and trust them with your notes. BrowserNotes takes the opposite approach: it runs entirely inside your browser and keeps every note on your own device, with nothing sent anywhere else.
BrowserNotes is a free, browser-based note editor with rich text formatting (bold, italic, underline, two heading levels, bulleted and numbered lists), a built-in drawing/pen tool with eraser, full-text search across notes, undo/redo, and import/export in JSON, Markdown, or HTML. Because storage is entirely local, there's no account to create and no server dependency — the trade-off is that notes don't automatically sync across devices unless the user manually exports and re-imports them.
