RunEvr

RunEvr

One shared workspace for creative teams — instead of bouncing between Slack, Google Drive, Frame.io and a project tracker, RunEvr puts chat, file review, screen recordings and even AI teammates in the same 'room' as the project itself.

Description

Creative production — video, design, animation — tends to scatter across too many tools: feedback lives in email threads, files live in Drive, chat lives in Slack, and by the time a project wraps nobody can reconstruct why a decision was made. RunEvr's approach is to keep everything about one project — the people, the files, the conversations, and the review comments — physically in the same digital 'room,' so context never gets lost between tools.

Built originally inside an animation studio, RunEvr bundles project boards, live media review with multi-layer approval workflows, screen and camera recordings, a built-in file drive, voice/video calls, and AI 'agent-employees' (named Aurora, Lan, and Iris) that can act as project coordinators or creative contributors. It targets design agencies, video/film production teams, marketing teams, and freelancers who currently stitch together several separate tools for the same workflow. Pricing has a genuinely free forever tier for solo creators (2 workspaces, 3 projects, 2GB storage), with Pro and Team tiers (per-seat, pricing still being finalized at time of writing) adding unlimited workspaces, more storage, and unlimited AI agents.

💬 Our review

The short version: if your creative team's current workflow is Slack for chat, Drive for files, Frame.io for review, and a task tool for tracking, RunEvr's whole reason to exist is collapsing all four into one place — and it was built by people who felt that exact pain running an actual animation studio, which shows in the specifics (multi-layer review, camera recordings) rather than generic feature lists.

Against a general tool like Notion or Asana, RunEvr is narrower but deeper on the media-review side — approval workflows and screen recording aren't afterthoughts, they're core. Against a pure review tool like Frame.io, RunEvr adds the chat/project-management layer Frame.io doesn't try to cover. The tradeoff is that RunEvr is young and its pricing for paid tiers wasn't finalized at time of writing, so teams evaluating it can start solo for free but can't yet do a clean cost comparison against established tools for the paid tiers — worth checking current pricing directly before committing a whole team's workflow to it.
