Description
If you use more than one AI coding assistant — say Claude Code for one task and Cursor for another — you end up juggling separate windows, separate logins, and separate ways of committing your changes to Git. T3 Code puts all of that in one place: a single app where you can talk to any of your AI coding agents, then commit, push, and open a pull request with one button, with the title and description written for you automatically.
It's an open-source (MIT), cross-platform app — available on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android — with over 21,000 GitHub stars. The short version: T3 Code is a genuinely useful convenience layer if you're already paying for more than one AI coding assistant, and being free and open-source with no token markup makes it an easy yes to try — but it adds a coordination layer, not new AI capability, so it's only valuable if multi-agent juggling is actually your problem.
Unlike an all-in-one AI IDE that locks you into one assistant, T3 Code's whole value is staying agnostic — you bring your own Claude, Cursor, Grok, or Codex subscriptions, and it just gives them a shared home with integrated git workflows. That's a real time-saver for developers who deliberately use different tools for different tasks, but if you're happy with a single assistant already integrated into your editor, T3 Code adds a layer you don't need. Being newer and community-run means expect some rough edges compared to the individual platforms it wraps, and it can't add features those platforms don't expose via their own APIs.
