Traditional CRMs are only as good as what your sales reps remember to type into them — which in practice means most of the real conversation with a customer never gets recorded anywhere. Lightfield instead listens to your actual emails, calls, and meetings and builds the customer record for you automatically.
Lightfield captures data from every channel (email, calendar, calls, Slack, LinkedIn) with zero manual entry, and lets you ask plain-English questions about your pipeline ("who needs follow-up," "what objections keep coming up"). It ships AI sales agents that can run outbound campaigns, prep you for meetings, reactivate stale deals, and enrich account data, plus an agent builder, an Agent SDK, and API/MCP access for building custom automations. Pricing is credit-based: Starter is pay-as-you-go at $0.040/credit (5,000 free credits), Pro is $1,000/month (400K annual credits at $0.030 each), Growth is $2,000/month (850K credits at $0.028 each), and Enterprise is custom with SSO and role-based access. It's SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 compliant, and was built by the ex-Meta team behind Tome.
💬 Our review
The short version: Lightfield is a genuinely different kind of CRM — built around automatic capture and AI agents doing sales admin work — but at $1,000-2,000+/month per active seller equivalent, it's priced for funded startups and growth-stage teams, not solo founders testing an idea.
Most CRMs (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce) still assume a human types the deal update; Lightfield's bet is that the data should assemble itself from the conversations that already happened, which genuinely eliminates a real pain point — reps skipping CRM updates because it's tedious. The tradeoff is cost: HubSpot's CRM starts free and its Sales Hub Starter is around $20/seat/month, radically cheaper than Lightfield's credit-based pricing, which the company itself estimates lands around $1,100-1,450/month per active seller in real usage. That price gap only makes sense if the automation genuinely replaces headcount or meaningfully increases rep output — worth validating with a real pilot before committing, especially since annual credits don't roll over, adding pressure to use-it-or-lose-it. If your sales team already has budget for a BDR or SDR and wants AI to extend that capacity rather than replace manual CRM hygiene, Lightfield's pitch is more credible than if you're just looking for a cheaper way to log calls.
