Description
AI coding agents can now write and modify iOS app code fairly well, but there's a hard wall right after: actually running and testing that app on an iOS Simulator requires a Mac, and most people running an AI agent aren't sitting at one, or don't want to hand the agent local control of their machine. AgentCloud removes that wall by putting the iOS Simulator in the cloud and exposing it through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the emerging standard AI agents use to call external tools.
With it, an agent like Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or Codex can install an app onto a real cloud-hosted simulator, see the screen and accessibility tree, tap and swipe through the UI, navigate via deep links, and read back console/app output — effectively giving the agent eyes and hands on the app it just wrote. Sessions are disposable, access is secured via OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, and there's team-scoped access for shared use. The free tier gives 2 Simulator hours plus 30 lifetime build minutes to try it; paid plans add fixed monthly allowances.

The obvious risk is timing: MCP and agentic coding tools are moving fast, and a service this tightly coupled to that ecosystem needs the ecosystem to keep growing to stay relevant — but that's also true of most of the AI-agent tooling space right now.
