Running multiple AI agents unattended is easy to start and hard to keep track of — which one's doing what, how many tokens they're burning, whether an MCP server crashed three hours ago. Hermes Control Interface is a self-hosted dashboard purpose-built for the Hermes AI agent stack, giving you a browser-based terminal, real-time chat, a kanban view of agent workflows, and token/cost analytics in one password-gated panel.

It includes a multi-panel 'Swarm Monitor' for watching several agents at once, an MCP manager to start/stop/restart MCP servers with log tailing, role-based access control with 20 granular permissions, and PWA support so it installs like a native app with offline caching. It's built on Node.js/Express with WebSocket streaming and xterm.js for the terminal, and ships security hardening (CSP, CSRF protection, rate limiting) out of the box.
