A status page is one of the few pieces of infrastructure people only look at when something is already broken, which makes it a bad candidate for yet another monthly subscription. YASP — Yet Another Status Page — is a self-hosted answer: run your own incident communication page on your own server, for free.
YASP is built with Next.js 15 (App Router) and Payload CMS 3.x on a PostgreSQL backend, styled with Tailwind CSS and available in dark and light themes. It handles incident tracking, scheduled maintenance windows, service grouping, and subscriber notifications sent by email (via Nodemailer/SMTP) or SMS (via Twilio). As a fully open-source MIT-licensed project, it's free to self-host indefinitely with no subscription tiers or per-subscriber pricing to plan around.
