Against GitHub Copilot or Vercel AI, MakeMode's code quality and model sophistication haven't been independently verified at the same scale, and its documentation on deployment targets and export formats is still thin — this is a young product, not a mature one. What it does have that Copilot and Replit don't is the specific EU-infrastructure guarantee, low-carbon positioning, and domain-specific flavors for niches (quantum, scientific notebooks) that generalist tools handle less deliberately.
