Description
When a coding task is big enough, one AI assistant working alone can miss things that another model would catch — or simply take too long doing everything sequentially. Medley plugs into Claude Code and breaks a prompt into a structured plan, then routes pieces of that plan to different AI models — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, Qwen, DeepSeek, Ollama and Llama — running some parts in parallel and others in sequence.
It adds a visual "mission board" to track what each model is doing and its status, integrates with over 40 external tools (GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear, Jira among them), and supports overnight/long-running task execution so work can continue unattended. It's free to install and use, since it runs on top of whatever AI model access you already have.

The short version: if you're already using Claude Code and want to throw more than one AI model at a hard problem instead of hoping one model catches everything, Medley is free to try and the multi-model coordination idea is genuinely differentiated from single-agent tools.
The competitive field it's stepping into — Devin, Cursor, Aider, and Claude Code's own native agent workflows — is crowded and mostly single-model-focused, so Medley's real pitch is orchestration across providers rather than being a better single agent. Whether that coordination overhead (planning, routing, reconciling different models' outputs) actually saves time versus just running one strong model well is the open question a real project will answer better than the marketing page can.
