YouTube's recommendation algorithm is designed to keep you watching, which is exactly the opposite of what you want if you just want to catch up on a specific set of channels without getting pulled into a Shorts spiral or an autoplay rabbit hole. NoSuggest strips all of that away: you add the channels you care about, and the app shows only their latest videos in a simple feed — no suggestions, no Shorts, no trending feed, no autoplay, and no sign-in required at all.
It's a Progressive Web App, meaning no app store install is needed, and it collects zero personal data — no accounts, no cookies, no tracking pixels, nothing leaves your device. It includes a Kids Mode with a 6-digit PIN so a parent can lock the channel list for a child, import/export backup codes for moving your setup between devices, and a "Create a Pack" feature to share a curated channel list with someone else via a link. It's completely free, source-available on GitHub, and funded by voluntary donations rather than ads or a subscription.

The short version: YouTube's algorithm-driven feed is a genuine attention trap for a lot of people, and a tool whose entire design is removing the algorithm rather than tuning it is a rare, clean answer to that specific problem — most "distraction-free YouTube" browser extensions just hide UI elements while leaving the underlying algorithm intact.
Because it's a PWA with no sign-in and zero data collection, there's essentially no cost or risk to trying it, and the Kids Mode is a genuinely useful, purpose-built feature for parents wanting a safe, curated feed without a full parental-control suite.
