OpenWork is a free, open-source desktop app that centralizes that: it manages Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations and reusable skills once, then shares them across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other tools, plus adds organization-level controls for teams.
It runs as a desktop app on macOS, Windows, and Linux, includes 'OpenWork Den' as an organization control plane, a skill/plugin marketplace where you can publish and reuse configurations, and native integrations with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Compared to Claude Cowork, which OpenWork positions itself directly against, the open-source, self-hosted nature means you control your own data and aren't dependent on a single vendor's roadmap, but you also don't get official first-party support or guaranteed compatibility as Anthropic's own tools evolve.
