Description

shadcn/ui became popular because it gives developers component code they can copy, own, and customize instead of a black-box npm package — but starting from individual components still means assembling every page (a pricing section, a dashboard layout, a hero) yourself. Shadcn Space fills that gap: a marketplace of ready-made blocks, full templates, and dashboard layouts built on the same shadcn/ui foundation, so you assemble pages instead of components.

It offers 371+ blocks (marketing, dashboard, e-commerce, forms), 385+ components, 10+ free templates, a CLI-based install workflow, an MCP server for IDE integration, a Figma UI kit, and WCAG 2.2-compliant accessibility, built on Radix UI and Base UI primitives with Tailwind CSS. Pricing: free for the open-source tier, then Starter at $49/month or $99 lifetime, Pro at $149 lifetime, and Team (up to 15 users) at $349 lifetime — all discounted from higher list prices.

💬 Our review

The short version: Shadcn Space is a reasonable time-saver for teams already committed to shadcn/ui who don't want to hand-build every block from scratch, and the lifetime-pricing options are notably cheaper than paying a recurring design-tool subscription over a few years.

Against shadcnuikit.com and shadcndesign.com, direct competitors doing essentially the same thing — paid blocks and templates on top of the same open-source library — the real differentiator between them tends to be the specific block/template selection and design taste, not fundamentally different technology, so it's worth browsing more than one before buying. Against Tailwind UI, the more established and pricier name in paid component libraries, Shadcn Space is shadcn-specific rather than framework-agnostic, an advantage only if your stack already uses shadcn/ui. Since shadcn/ui itself is free and open source, none of this is strictly required — it only pays off if you value the time saved over building blocks yourself. Worth it for teams shipping SaaS dashboards or marketing pages regularly on a shadcn/ui stack; skip it if you're building something visually unique enough that pre-made blocks won't fit anyway.
