Amazon SES is cheap to send email through, but it's raw infrastructure — SES itself doesn't give you a nice dashboard to see what's happening to your emails, which is why people often pay for Postmark or Resend instead, largely for the visibility layer on top of essentially the same delivery mechanics. Sessy's answer is to give you that visibility layer for free: an open-source, self-hosted dashboard that sits on top of your existing SES setup.
Sessy tracks every event SES reports — sends, deliveries, bounces, complaints, opens, clicks, rejects, delays — with bounce/reputation monitoring, 30-day engagement trend charts, support for managing multiple email sources separately, and even a built-in MCP server so AI agents can query your email data directly.
