Most CRMs assume you'll spend real time re-entering contacts and logging every interaction by hand. Folk instead tries to build your contact database automatically — pulling context from your inbox, LinkedIn, and the other tools you already use — so you spend more time actually following up with people instead of maintaining a database about them.
Folk captures context from emails, messages, social platforms (especially LinkedIn), and other sources to build a unified customer database. It includes AI-powered assistants for follow-ups, recaps, research, and workflow automation, plus 1-click contact enrichment. The platform covers pipeline management, sales dashboards, email campaigns, and message sequence automation, integrates with 5,000+ platforms, and ships a Chrome extension (folkX) for LinkedIn plus a mobile app for remote deal management.
💬 Our review
The short version: Folk is a good fit if you want a CRM that feels closer to a smart, auto-updating address book than a heavyweight sales system you have to feed manually — the LinkedIn integration in particular makes it fast to get real data into the system from day one.
Against HubSpot (far more powerful but heavier to set up and much pricier at scale) or Pipedrive (a more traditional deal-pipeline focus with less automatic contact enrichment), Folk's pitch is speed of setup and less manual data entry. Airtable can technically replicate a lot of this, but you'd be building the CRM yourself rather than getting one out of the box. At $30/member/month, Folk's Standard tier undercuts HubSpot's Starter noticeably for a small team, though pricing is per seat, so costs climb with headcount, and it's worth checking the credit-based enrichment limits against your actual contact volume before committing.
